This artist's book is based on new works (2018 - 2021) that revolve around the private, political or religious in a lustful, provocative manner: The recurring motif of the person with the monkey head is Kafka-esque and thus constantly raises the question of what level we are at and whether we are really as far from our genetic ancestors as it often appears in the de-naturalized environment. The more cultivated we seem, the less cultivated we behave, that is the insight of März in his work. In addition, this book appears like an experimental setup in Corona times with the question whether we are all stars, who are simply looking for the love we are entitled to... whether monkeys-whether human beings. In 2018, the Georg Kolbe Museum / Berlin and the Gerhard-Marcks-Haus / Bremen in a double exhibition showed März's development of the space through its various forms-everything from sculptures to photos, texts and paintings to video art stretched across the respective exhibition rooms. The book for this double exhibition: "Horizontalist (der Affe fällt nicht weit vom Stamm)" was also published at VfmK in 2018.
