The participation of disabled people in professional life lies at the centre of this work. So far understood as participation in special environments, people with disabilities today should have the right to participate in the general work market with all rights and obligations. The book describes this opening of the professional sector for people with disabilities in Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. An image and a comparison of the state of inclusion in Europe are given. Additionally national strategies, paths and means used to reach the goal of inclusion are demonstrated.
