»Legal Culture and Administration of Justice in the Church« This festschrift entitled »Rechtskultur und Rechtspflege in der Kirche« (»Legal Culture and Administration of Justice in the Church«) and dedicated to Wilhelm Rees, Professor of Canon Law at the University of Innsbruck, on the occasion of his 65th birthday reflects the central concerns of Rees's acandemic oeuvre. In his critical analysis of the eccelsiastical legal order and in his comments and observations on ecclesiastical legislation he keeps advocating the implementation of solutions that are in accordance with the ideal of justice. The contributions assembled in this volume offer a critical engagement with Rees's work in central areas of common law, such as constitutional law, criminal and procedural law as well as comparative religious law.
