»Legal Aspects of Publicity in Municipal Corporate Law« Publicity and legitimacy of municipal business activities are important for the practice. The complexity of their legal issues is situated in the area of conflict between self-government law, European law on competition, state aid and public procurement, the law on fair trading practices, as well as German corporate law and the municipal law of the Federal States. As a guiding principle the municipalities' responsibility for managing, controlling and monitoring companies and investments is a citizen's right as a sovereign. On the basis of the jurisdiction of the German Constitutional Court this right will be developed by the author.
