»Prognosis Principle and Contract Control in Fixed-Term Employment Relationships« The work concerns the legitimacy of fixed-term employment contracts based on Art. 14 (1) Part-time Work and Fixed-term Employment Contracts Act (TzBfG), which was adopted due to a European Framework Agreement. According to that Act the conclusion of fixed-term contracts requires the existence of »objective reasons«, which are characterized by their temporary nature and need thus to be proved by a prognosis. The requirements on this prognosis and its judicial control in particular are still controversial, and hence need, especially under the influence of European Law, to be revalued.
