»Personal Data as Consideration. A Contribution to the Legal Classification of Data-Driven Exchange Deals«: The legal implications of data-driven contractual relationships under german civil law are controversial. The critical question is when and whether the disclosure of personal data by a data subject can be qualified as consideration. In that context, the question arises as to the classification of these contractual relationships in the system of contract types of the German Civil Code. The dissertation attempts to answer these questions on the basis of the typology of contract types.
