»Natur« in der Transzendentalphilosophie

»>Nature< in Transzendental Philosophy« The naturalistic self-understanding of the present age seems to have calmed down, believing to stand on safe scientific grounds by supposing that man is a product of nature - without regard to the fact that it is he who sees himself this way. This uncritical self-image of man is irreconcilably opposed to the epistemology of Immanuel Kant, himself a theoretian of natural science. On the basis of his method of critical selfreflection, the present volume brings together theories of nature of various philosophers whose thinking is based on Kant's transcendental method. His mindset of critical self-awareness is the only one, able to successfully oppose the generally held ideology of naturalism by rational arguments.
