This work delves into the way in which people construct, learn and propagate their gender beliefs. Through a reflective journey, it shows how traditionally sexist cultures propagate their ideology to the population through various subsystems of society, including government, religion, business, entertainment, schools, and even families. Finally, the participation of each subsystem in the reinforcement and normalization of sexist beliefs, stereotypes and gender prejudices is explained.
