»Communication between the German Bundestag and the German Federal Government about EU-Matters« The participation of the German Bundestag and the cooperation of the Federal Government with the Bundestag are the constitutional elements of their communication about EU-matters (Article 23 para. 2 and 3 Basic Law). Franziska Brand surveys how this communication is put into practice and concludes that these parliamentary and governmental tasks have to be considered as constitutional obligations in order to develop a more effective parliamentary participation in EU-matters as stipulated by the constitution.
