Instructions are given in English in the units but in the Your turn homestudy section, instructions are given in German because learners are working alone. The handy Out and About booklet allows learners to continue practising their English outside the classroom. The topic of each unit is developed in Out and About and learners are given related cultural information, Internet links, out-of-the-classroom tasks and tips how to improve their learning. Two CDs come with the book. When the CDs are played on a CD player, the learner can access the listening exercises on the Your turn pages.
