»The Division of Competence in Registered Non-Profit Associations« This thesis analyses the division of competence (members' meeting vs. board of directors) within non-profit associations, paying particular attention to associations functioning as parents of groups of companies - topics on which legislation and case law remain mostly silent. It draws on doctrines established for private and public limited companies and uses Bundesliga football clubs - organized as registered non profit associations and often having various subsidiary companies - as practical examples.
