»The Family Foundation as a Vehicle for Succession Planning under German and Liechtenstein Law. A Comparison of Civil and Tax Law Fundamental Questions«: The comparative law approach of this thesis deals with the question under which aspects a Liechtenstein family foundation as an instrument of succession planning for German founders and beneficiaries is more favourable than a German family foundation. In order to answer this question, central aspects of the civil and tax law of foundations, the mobility of foundations as well as the right to supplementary compulsory portions under German and Liechtenstein law were examined.
