Die hornartige, etwas flache, spitzige Lefze (a) ist fast so lang als die Lippe, und schliesst die horn artige, sehr spitzige Zunge (b) ein, welche meistens fast so lang als die Lefze ist, bei einigen Arten aber auch nur zwei Drittel ihrer Länge erreicht, beide sind an der obern Basis der Lippe eingesetzt. Kinnbacken (cc) an der untern Basis der Lefze eingesetzt, hornartig, etwas säbelförmig, spitzig, meistens so lang wie die Lefze, und so wie diese gezahnt. I.
