»Appropriate Remuneration for Medical Rehabilitation in the Area of Responsibility of the German Statutory Pension Insurance Scheme« The study is dedicated to the legally required (SGB IX) appropriate remuneration of services for medical rehabilitation. Due to the market power of the German Statutory Pension Insurance Scheme (Deutsche Rentenversicherung) the concept of competition intended by the legislator fails. The remuneration must therefore be determined in a two-stage procedure based on cost examination and comparison of remuneration, which the Federal Social Court of Germany (Bundessozialgericht) has developed for other social insurance areas.
