»Responsibility of Employees of Private Military Companies under the German Code of Crimes against International Law (Völkerstrafgesetzbuch)« Many States rely on private military companies in the context of armed conflicts. This book examines the criminal responsibility of employees of these companies for grave breaches of international humanitarian law under the German Völkerstrafgesetzbuch. Centered at the interface between international criminal law and corporate criminal law, the study analyses relevant offences. Particular focus is laid on attribution of criminal responsibility within collectively acting organisations.
