»Decisions under Uncertainty« The object of the interdisciplinary dissertation relates to the directors' liability under German stock corporation law and the applicability of the business judgment rule (sec. 93 para. 1 sentence 2 of the German Stock Corporation Act) to decisions of directors taken under legal uncertainty. Certain assumptions with respect to the behaviour of directors as well as judges are being examined from a behavioural science's perspective, inter alia concerning the hindsight bias and the sunk-cost effect.
